The story of skip is really the story of many children and adults.  Many are often treated rudely or ignored because they do not fit.  Therefore, like Skip, they seek other acceptable places even if it means giving up their true identity, their dreams, or lifestyle.  We all must realize that life throws hardballs and sometimes we don’t catch them.  Sometimes we even get hurt by these flying obstacles.  But if we persevere and stay true to the path that has been designed within up, we will succeed.
